I recently drew your attention to the film the naked civil servant starring John Hurt. Sadly he died today aged 77. not a bad innings      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Hurt

Yes, he was a fine actor with a long career. He will be missed. His portrayal of the Elephant Man was really something to see.
