I have many photos of boys dressed as girls that I've collected from the web over the years. If you like these please comment and I'll post more.

Hey Cutepatti,
some of these pics I have seen and a few I have not. Many are in Betty's files and I suppose unless somebody finds new ones we may have seen all that are out there over the years but I hope not. Whenever I saw something like this, I never had a camera handy so I have missed a couple in the last few years. This of course proves to me that there are still boy's out there who dress in secret or have a mom who helps them along this path. Today it may be harder for a parent to allow this as there is always somebody looking to call Children's services for abuse issues.
-
I'm sure some of these pics have been posted elsewhere in Betty's but there is so much here that it's difficult to know what all pics are on here. But I'm glad to hear that some of these are new to you and I'll try to keep finding more that haven't yet been posted. It is sad that in this supposedly enlightened & permissive age we live in now that basically harmless activity such as a boy dressing as a girl by his mom can result in problems with the authorities. Yet we have countless womanless pageants in schools now which are regarded as OK even when the boy is very young. So much graphic violence is acceptable on TV or in movies yet we try to stifle what is truly an innocent activity. Welcome to the real world! THX Angela for your reply. :)

Not that it makes much difference, but the "school uniform" photo is quite a good job of Photoshopping; the original was of a Japanese school girl.
-
Robyn I'm sure you are right about that pic. So many can look genuine and often can only be 'outed' if the original is found like you did.
Here is my all-time favorite 'legitimate' photo of a young boy dressed as a very frilly girly-boy. I've always loved this one because the face is obviously a boy who seems very happy & comfortable to be dressed the way he is. And his outfit from head to toe, from the cute curly wig on his head to the adorable socks and MaryJane shoes on his feet is priceless. I envy him wearing such a cute outfit and wish that could have been me at that age. Wow....this is the best! :)
-
OK cutepatti, this pic is one of my favourites and reminds me of when I was about 7 and dressed in my cousins Easter outfit. God I loved her dress and tights but the shiny patent leather Mary Janes captured my heart forever. It took me many years to find a pair that looked as good and actually fit me and they are safe in a box in my workshop under lock and key along with some other special clothes and the ruffled lace socks also.
-
I agree on that last picture as an "all time favorite". It's all so perfect. As to imagining what's under it all, allow me to share my idea of "perfect".

Wonderful pic MaryBeth! I'm sure he did have on something similar to what you are wearing. And possibly a silky vest or maybe even a cute training bra? If only we could see inside that lovely dress to really know. And can you imagine how tingly he must have felt wearing white tights...caressing his legs and adding to the thrill of an added layer of nylon snug against his torso. I'm sure he had goose bumps. My guess is this wasn't his first excursion into his little girly-boy world. The look on his face shows a familiar expression of joy and happiness. Oh my....I SO can feel what he must have felt! Lovely! :)
-
Oh Mary Beth these are lovely ruffled plastic panties and I have a pair just like them from Babykins. I only wish I had a cute white dress to wear them under but I only have a cute baby doll nighty that I wear with these.
-
Love this pic. Gorgeous little boy who looks so happy. Pretty from head to toe...well maybe not toe. Definitely needs different shoes. haha But I'm sure his feet feel good even in those dirty old sneaks with the feel of nylon on them. Next time it will be flats or maryjanes for sure! :)

Daddy always wanted a daughter...or maybe just a sissy son?? Looks like he got his wish! Seems they are ready for some daddy/sissy bonding! Wonder what they are up to? ;D
-
Billy finds Daddy's secret stash. At first he didn't understand...but then he tried some of it on. And then he understood. He wondered if Daddy got the same tingly feeling as he did? Should he tell Daddy or keep it a secret? :-\
-
Well cutepatti, you have founds some pics I have not seen before. Love the cute pink outfit on Billy and the white shoes. I think I have a thing for shoes. The other pic of the young innocent boy trying on his sisters things and trying to get a good look in the mirror is a new one for me and reminded me of something I did every time I tried on my sisters things. Of course back then there were no cameras or phones to get pics to remember the wonderful time over again. I just have my memories and hope they don't fade away too soon.
-
Angela your, and my, memories from long ago as we struggled to come to grips with what we were doing will never fade away. It is so different today for young boys like us. Perhaps they may still have some confusion but not anything like we did. Even young boys have access to the internet and can find their way around enough to see what they need to see (and some of what maybe they shoudn't see..haha)...that they are not alone. I wonder if there are more or less boys like us now? Society has changed so much especially with gender issues. Girls no longer dress as we remember and more and more are encouraged to be less feminine...so does that end some of the curiosity by boys of today? Was it the pretty clothes that started us on our journey...or is it just a part of our genetic makeup that may be the same with boys now? I also wonder if things like all the womanless pageants there are now may cause some boys to 'cross a line' that they might never have crossed? Give them a push into their girly side once they don clothing that gives them a different & pleasant feeling? These pageants usually have the boys dressing in very feminine outfits. I don't have the answers.....but have the same curiosity as I ever did. And I sure do love these photos that now can be found fairly easily. :)
-
...Of course back then there were no cameras or phones to get pics to remember the wonderful time over again. I just have my memories and hope they don't fade away too soon.
Like you I'd dress and spend as much time in front of the mirror always wishing I could take a picture. I do remember sitting for hours carefully cutting and gluing pictures out of a catalog using the heads of boys over the girl clothes. It was such a turn on. Those were my first paper dolls.

Cutepatti that's a very cute picture. How wonderful it would have been wearing a pageant dress like that - in public. Thank you for sharing.

THX MaryBeth. I remember spending a LOT of time looking at the big catalogs that used to come from places like Sears & Montgomery Ward back in the 50s and 60s. The clothing sections were loaded with lots and lots of pics of girl clothes and girls wearing them. I didn't have sisters so I had to mostly just appreciate and get turned on by looking at catalogs and magazines and imagining what it would be like to wear that stuff. It sure did help to put my confused puberty into high gear at those times when I was alone with those images of young girls in cute dresses or even older girls wearing girdles & bras. Whew! tee hee. ;)
-
Oh wow Mary Beth, I thought I was the only one that did that, creating my own paper boy/girl dolls using catalog pictures and many of mom's magazines too. I am not too sure if it was the pretty girls clothes that started me dressing up or the fact that I felt like a girl from an early age or maybe it was both but I am 68 now and the feeling has never gone away. Sure I tried to hide from it and throw away my girls things several times from the shame I felt but the feeling never goes away. Perhaps this is truly how Bruce Jenner felt all his life also and at least he was able to do something about it finally but many of us don't have that option.
-
Those catalog pictures reminded me of one author on the Experience Project web site. Although he closed his account before the web site went defunct, he claimed that in the 1950s or 1960s (I'm not sure of the exact timing) a Catholic bishop in the US midwest proclaimed it was "it was sinful and offended Jesus" for little girls to serve as models, and apparently other clergy in the area followed suit. As a result he, and a number of other boys, became "dual gender models," appearing both as boys and as girls in certain "major retail catalogs."
He had a number of interesting stories to tell before taking them all down, but I have since wondered whether it was true or fantasy. Especially since he seemed to know several other people on the site whom he and they claimed had been dual gender models with him.
If any of you have seen any of the "gigglets" photoshops of boys dressed as girls with a funny comment, this is apparently the person who created them (apparently these, too, have become hard to find).
-
Hmmm...even the "Gigglets" have become nearly impossible to find. Googling the term turns up nothing but googlebane (false positives). For the record, here's one:
-
Isn't Giggelets part of Princess Production's pay magazine or subscription section these days, or some other pay per view or subscription based site? I don't believe all of Giggelets was ever free, just portions or some free samples of it. If you have to pay to see it, Google wouldn't find it.
Is Princess Production closing or was taken over? I notice it's no longer on it's old domain & servers.
It's now at,
http://www.princessproductions-new.com/
It's nowhere near as user friendly as it used to be. There used to be more free illustrated articles. You also used to browse whole pages of the front covers of their publications, so you knew what to expect before buying access to them.
Paid access was to easy to use or download web-based pages, where most of them now seem to be not so user friendly PDF downloads. Many links are broken send you to a server host or host gator page saying the page is down or don't exist.
I be afraid to pay for an online magazine or PDF not knowing if the page actually exists anymore until after I paid.
I see the pages haven't been updated since April, & the busiest main page only had 38,000 hits in a little over 3 months (about 400 hits a day?). That's dismal for any national or international sissy site. The worst of the sissy sites get that in just a couple weeks.
Are they going under or already have? Maybe if they made the sites more user friendly, more freebies, with better previews & navigation to them of what's for sale, they could do better.
If giggelets still exists there, the poor layout would make it almost impossible to find. It would be guesswork at best to buy the correct magazine with the desired material.
Does anybody know who or what page/site was the last to carry the Gigglets series? Maybe we can find an archive of them if they're no longer supported or served anywhere.
-
While I'm at it, does any site carry the complete (old & new) sissy art by Christeen anymore? I see some that carry a few new ones, some old ones, but nobody seems to have anywhere near all of them anymore.
It seems picture rip-off site, pinterest carries more of them than any particular site.
If that's the case, would anybody be interested in a site carrying almost all of them in one place, & who do I ask permissions to run them? Or... does anybody know if it's OK to archive & preserve them for all to see these days? Put on the right properly configured site, even webarchives/wayback will archive most of it for future sissies after we're gone.
Petticoatpunishmentart.com used to be the best source for most of it years ago, but she doesn't carry hardly anything there anymore.
Another one I'm seeing turning up on Pinterest more often than any particular website anymore is Sissy Prissy's art. Is there no longer any site for all of it, or is it a free-for-all?
I know our "fair use" rights to post bits of stuff from everywhere related to our topics, & hobbies, but to post almost all of someone's works requires permissions, if the producer still exists.
And don't tell me some site owner bought out or assumed their rights after they were gone, because anybody can play that game of "claiming" ownership after the original owner or creator has gone or retired. It's meaningless unless they have a paper signed by the creator or original owner stating so. Without that signed paper, they have as much right to it as anybody else.
Many people go or retire, so are happy someone is still carrying & displaying their work for them, but few creators would actually sign away their rights to it, unless a large sum of money was offered for it. Most would just give or sign permissions to use the material. A creator signing permissions for a site to use their material, does not give them exclusive rights to it. It just means the creator is allowing them to use the material.
-
I don't know about Princess Productions -- haven't been there in ages, mostly for the reasons cited above. I believe there was a collection of them at a Russian site (probably imgsrc.ru), and Experience Project had several from the aforementioned "dual gender model," but when he took down his posts, everything went with them.
-
OK daddy...I'm ready. Why do you like seeing me this way and why can't I tell mom? Oh...OK...I'll keep it a secret...just between me and you. Wow, you think I look pretty? Gosh thanks! I love this new pink dress you got me. It fits me so good and feels just so, mmm, so yummy. And the silver sandals with the little heels make me feel sorta like a big girl. Wow daddy thank you so much. Yeah daddy, I'll be your little girl any time you want me to. I like making you happy! ;)

This photo looks legit. The little girls obviously are really boys and it looks like the ladies are probably their dads. If not, those are really ugly women!! haha What do you think? ;D
-
These two need to swap shirts because the 'girl' on the right really is a dog. 'Girl' on the left is a cutie-pie! ;D
-
Wow! 3 cheers for this cutie. Bet she has nice pom-poms!! ;)

My poll so far shows that 72% of you like all photos including those that are photoshopped. It doesn't surprise me since it seems that a lot of the photos posted here on Betty's website are obviously photoshopped. Often hard to tell...but most can usually be easily detected. Why are photoshopped photos so popular when there are so many legitimate photos of boys dressed as girls available? Is it admired as an art form reflecting the skill of the person doing the photoshopping, and not so much the photo itself? On this thread I'm now trying to post only what I feel are legitimate photos. To me it is more meaningful to see 'real' photos. There is already way too much fake everything happening on the web. 8)
-
Regarding the poll:
As one who believes that a guy should be as free to enjoy wearing a dress as a woman is to wear pants, I must say that although I enjoy a Photoshop as well as the next person, as a yardstick of peoples' attitudes, I wish it were easier to tell whether the picture is:
1: Yep, really a boy -- examples: the ones with the book "The Boy in the Dress," and the cosplay/anime photos;
2: male-to-female transsexuals -- although the line between this and the previous category may be blurry enough that perhaps we don't want to split them after all (google "princess boy": I suspect that most of these kids, if left alone and allowed to experiment, will Not grow up to be transsexuals);
3: Photoshops -- the really bad ones are no problem, but there are a lot of really good ones out there,
and
4: Looks like a boy, but actually a girl -- examples (I believe) the ones with the fully dressed kids playing in the swimming pool.
-
THX for your reply Robyn and you make very good points regarding the subject of real vs. photoshopping. I hadn't even thought about the fact that there are many photos of REAL girls who look very much like boys. Good food for thought. :)
However, it would be more appropriate to use the term transgender rather than transsexual. Transgender is now a more generic term for those who have transitioned to other than their birth sex or have those feelings even if they have not transitioned. And transitioning has nothing to do with a surgical sex change. Even with surgery one cannot 'change' their sex. It is all about GENDER regardless of what one decides to do in order to live their life as it is meant to be lived.
I remember long ago when the word transsexual was the generic word for anyone who lived as their opposite 'sex'. But that was before the word transgender came into play. Sort of like transvestite, which mostly disappeared once the word crossdresser came into play. Or like homosexual, which has all but disappeared now that the word gay is used.
My being married to a transgender has helped me to better understand the sensitivity descriptions can have on someone like her. She would not like being called a transsexual even if she were to have surgery. Her GENDER is and has always been female even though she was born a male. And I only see her and treat her as a female, not trans-anything. :)
-
don't worry. he'll grow into it.
-
Love this photo, he looks as happy as I would at his age trying on my sisters things.
-
it would be more appropriate to use the term transgender rather than transsexual....
Yeah, I'm old, old enough to remember the big to-do about Christine Jorgensen and Renee Richards, and by "transsexual" I was thinking specifically of those who had undergone sex reassignment surgery. I stand corrected on my terminology. But your comment suggests that people who were born male but identify as female should indeed be put in a separate group when classifying the photos, especially since they consider themselves to be female.
Then we would have four classes of photos: (1) males wearing clothes traditionally associated with females, (2) genetic males who identify as female, (3) genetic females who look like males dressed as females, and (4) Photoshops, whether by putting male heads on female bodies, or (as I have sometimes seen) smoothing out a pair of shorts into a skirt or making a similar alteration in a photo of a male.
There would still be some slippage, especially with "genderqueer" young people: boys who prefer "girlish" clothing but may or may not identify as female now or grow up to identify as female.
Oh, and P.S., it's "Robyn Jodie," not just "Robyn" -- you wouldn't call Mary Jane shoes "Mary shoes" would you? All because I spell my first name with a space rather than a hyphen! :-)
-
Sorry about the name-oops, Robyn Jodie. Didn't mean to offend!
I wasn't speaking specifically about classifying photos. My comment was regarding your use of the word transsexual, since it is a term that is rarely used anymore for individuals who live as a gender other than what they were born. Transgender is more representative & inclusive since it applies to all such individuals whether they are pre-op, post-op, or non-op. That was the only point I was really wanting to make.
Appreciate your response. We really need more interaction like this on here. :)
-
Cute pic of young thai boys dressed as girls for a festival. Since Thailand has an abundance of 'ladyboys' I wonder how many of these will become one? ;D
-
this looks legit, but not sure. good one regardless.
-
this is a tough one. girl or boy? i think girl...no, boy...no, girl...no, boy. jeez, what do you think? :-\
-
it would be more appropriate to use the term transgender rather than transsexual....
Or in a broader term to cover more of it with less confusion, and not having to be forced to identify or guess each individuals personal & specific tastes, or feelings that day... just "Trans"... but not to be confused with the rude term or used by the uninformed or outsiders, "Tranny".
There are quite a few where they hand-drawn ruffles to the collar or trim to a male's clothing, drew in some bows, or literally gave a girl a haircut in a photo by airbrushing out some of their hair, so they appear male. Painting pigtails, ruffles, eyelashes, lipstick, & earrings on a male photo is quite common. I've done all of the above to a few pictures circulating around over the years, rather than pasting heads on another body, or pasting a dress on someone. It looks more realistic.
Oh, and P.S., it's "Robyn Jodie," not just "Robyn" -- you wouldn't call Mary Jane shoes "Mary shoes" would you? All because I spell my first name with a space rather than a hyphen!
But they do call Mary Jane shoes, just "Mary Janes".
It is quite common, & usually acceptable here, at most forums, or on social media to be on a first-name basis to who you are referring to... unless there is someone else with the same first name in the conversation's thread or talk group. Then, they may use a last name initial too. Someone may refer to someone as "John V." so they're not confused with "John D." in the same group or thread.
Most of us refer to "Mary Beth Sanford" as "Mary Beth", but we don't call her just "Mary" because there are too many called Mary. No offense is intended or should be taken by modern typing, internet, or social media shorthand... it's just how things work & are done these days.
I go by the screen name "Betty". "Betty Pearl" is a website name. BuffaloBetties, UncleGadget, & PearlCorona are domain names. I'll answer to all of them, but will remind them that domain names are not personal or screen names & not my name. Domains come & go, can be faked, bought, or stolen.
Some people were just getting used to writing & typing on a keyboard when they came out with tap-screen portables, so they stopped learning any real typing. These portables have auto-complete, auto-suggest, auto-type, & auto spell-check. Although most of those devices will remember words you type the most, & suggest or auto-complete with them, they won't remember everything.
Some people aren't very good with English, & it isn't their primary language. Some of them are tapping/typing on a small or older phone with a 240x320 pixel screen. With all those drawbacks & obstacles faced with joining, logging in, & posting on those little portables, I'm happy that they can post anything understandable with them.
More than half our daytime visitors come here on a portable, & about half are from outside the USA. English is not their primary language for about 1/3 of them. It's not even that they never get on a computer. But living with a roommate, family, or being on a shared computer or connection, visiting Betty's on their own private & personal portable, or pocket device may be their only option to visit privately.
Back in the late 1990s when I was working 50-70 hour work weeks, I was more likely visiting & managing Betty's on a small webtv unit with a tiny wireless keyboard, connected to a 350p 12" television on a dialup connection. It was in my isolated basement office/shop at work. There were computers in the main offices there, but I couldn't privately visit Betty's there. By the time I got home, I had enough time to eat, take care of/play with the cats, & go to sleep. Not much time to get on the home computer unless I had a day off or was blessed with a short day. Most of my posts back then were done quickly in a hurry during a coffee or meal break at work. When you're at work 10-20 hours in a day, they will let you wander off if you have a chance for a quick break, coffee, or meal occasionally.
Shortly after the turn of the century, I was visiting, posting, & managing Betty's most of the time during breaks at work with a $45 phone with a 320x400 pixel 3-inch wide screen (via their WiFi). Many of my posts, & emails back then were made in a hurry at work while sitting on the crapper at work with a phone.
And back then, we didn't have a separate special mobile feed for Betty's. So I know first-hand the difficultly many of our users have visiting on small, older, or cheap portable devices. But I didn't bother making a separate mobile feed of Betty's until it was almost half our daytime visitors were here on mobile devices.
Even today, since I was forced into early retirement because of COPD, my first visit to Betty's of the day or my email & message checks may be on a portable while sitting on the toilet... or the last visit & message checks before bed time.
Let them type any way they want. I only draw the line when they don't try to use any caps or punctuation at all, or the post cannot be understood. Why waste their time & mine by posting something where nobody can understand what they were talking about? Also when somebody appears to be posting drunk or has severe mental problems, this isn't the best place they should be at that time.
-
Wow, Betty, so you had a WebTV system too? That was my first 'computer' also that I bought in 1997. Used it for several years until I finally got my first desk-top. Was a good system when dial-up was all I had available and nice to have it hooked up to a large screen TV. I remember that it came with a big handbook that listed hundreds of websites where you could just enter a code to go to them. Was obsolete almost immediately as new websites came online everyday and I don't think I even used any of the codes. Search engines were starting up then and the guide became a relic very quickly. My how times have changed. But a good memory. :)
-
Lest there be any confusion, when I stated that my first name was Robyn Jodie, and not just Robyn, I wasn't trying to correct as such, but rather to to express my preference as to what I would like to be called. Other than that, it doesn't much matter what you call me -- just not "Stupid" or "Insensitive."
In real life, I have told people that if they can't remember my name, just say "chocolate" -- I'll turn around... :)
-
I love blondes, but the brunette ain't bad either. Very cute, all of them. :)
-
Wow, any of these would be great prom dates! :-*
-
Let's see..should I stick with football, or stay being a pretty girl.....hmmmm. :-\
-
Lucky boy's, we never got to do this when I was young. We had one day, one day on Halloween to dress in fancy dresses and tights and panties and if we were extra lucky we would be allowed to wear our costumes to school for a small party. I only got to do that one time and wouldn't you know it, I was a Pirate that year. To be honest though, I don't remember any boy in my school dressing as a girl at the school party.
-
It is amazing how common it is now for boys to dress as girls openly without fear, well other than some teasing I'm sure. Most do it for fun but I do wonder how many do it because they WANT to. I also wonder how many do it for, such as, a womanless pageant at school...and then discover that it feels good...or feels right. Is crossdressing as a NEED a part of our genetic makeup...or can it be acquired quite by accident? I was never coerced into dressing as a girl...I just knew I needed to do it from a very young age. But I kept it private because of being embarrassed and shy...and for a long time feeling like I was the only one in the whole world who did such a weird thing. Was no real information available back then for a lot of us. So many things to wonder about todays young boys 'crossdressing' versus those of us who were born long ago. :-\
-
Some boys LOVE dressing up as girls! :-* :)
-
Other boys...not so much!! :( :'( >:(
-
Yes cutepatti, I always had the feeling I had to dress "right" as I knew I was really a girl inside but also like you I was shy and embarrassed and thought I was the only one doing this crazy thing behind everybody's back. I was also teased quite a bit as a young boy so that was just normal for me but even though my sister helped me dress sometimes she never made fun of me even when I was older and got caught she never said anything to me. Now that we are older I wonder if she even remembers those times I borrowed her clothes or was caught with my own as a teen. I don't remember any of my school friends and I only had two that were close friends, ever knowing or catching me in panties and tights.
-
Question: why is only 1 of these cheerleaders a brunette? Answer: the blondes keep the crowd happy...but the brunette keeps the football team happy!! Oh, and BTW...that's why she's the HEAD cheerleader! hahaha :o

3 more cheerleaders
