Hi,
From today's New York Times.
I was 17 years old when The Queen came out and bizarre as it sounds I saw it in the company of my mother and father. They chose the film and I can only think they didn't really have any idea what it was about. I don't remember anything about the day, the discussions, if any, leading up to the choice, nor any discussion afterwards. I do remember thinking how pretty I thought Rachel Harlow was for a man but nothing beyond that.

Thanks.
On the bright side, we all found out about a cool movie most of us didn't hear about before. I'd be sooo happy to make it to 78. But if I do, you know I'll want to make it to 88 if it don't hurt too much. Maybe by then, they'll have figured out how to live to 130 without it costing 10 million dollars in med bills.

Hi Betty,
All of us hope to keep on going. My feelings about death coincide with what Woody Allen had to say about it.
I'm not afraid to die, I just don't want to be there when it happens.
I also like Steven Wright's thoughts.
I intend to live forever. So far, so good.

Ironically up until I was well into my 30s, I had absolutely no fear of death whatsoever. That's probably why young people make good soldiers. But now that I've been around a while, I've grown quite used this thing they call life.
Now that most people no longer want to see me dead, suffer, or in prison just for being gay or a crossdresser, I'd like the time to enjoy just being me more.
I found the movie. I can only find it in worse than VHS quality. It was probably shot in at least 16mm which would have made it about DVD quality. I may assume that the original film was lost, & only VHS versions survived to be converted to digital.
Even with my best enhancements & tweaks, I'm not going to make this copy look rather well.

I tried to fix & clean up the movie as best i can, but there was little to work with because my copy was so poor quality.
