Hi Patricialacey,
That does sound interesting, hope it gets some pick up in the U.S.

Sounds interesting. I don't get ITV, but usually after stuff airs, it's available somewhere, or after a series is done running for a while I may even get permissions to run it privately to a small audience of our members only. Sometimes their own website will run the stuff for free online too.
Release date says Sept. 1 in the UK only. We can hope they'll air it on their website later. Hopefully, unlike the BBC, maybe ITV allow people from outside the UK to watch it at their website without going through a European proxy or VPN.

Hi Betty, it's just started showing in Australia on SBS & SBS On Demand. The first two episodes have aired with the final part next week. Not had time to watch yet, will probably do all 3 as a "boxed set".
If you want to check for access this is the On Demand link:
1.01
https://www.sbs.com.au/ondemand/video/1422352451952/butterfly
1.02
https://www.sbs.com.au/ondemand/video/1427210307867/butterfly
Details of the files are
1.01
360 1898kbs
640x360
1.02
720 1705kbs
1280x720
Both around 550mb
I'm not sure if they will let you into the On Demand site from the USA, but I've downloaded the first 2 from there, if you need/want them, I'll figure out a way to upload to a share site for you.

Thanks for reminding me about this one. Nope, those links wouldn't allow me access from USA ISPs. Going through a free Australian proxy to get it would be painfully slow.
I may have found another source of the first 3 episodes though. They're only about 240-260mb per episode in HD from my source. Unfortunately my slow DSL is tied up a lot for my job these days, so I'll have to wait when my connection is less busy with work to see if I can download them.
Meanwhile, I am preparing other stuff to upload to our private viewing area, & almost done re-configuring our server that serves the media, & reorganizing the media files.
Are you keeping cool enough down there? I read you folks are melting away in a record breaking heatwave with temperatures at 40-49C (104-120F).
We're expecting a mega snow storm this weekend. Sunday night it might get down to -18C (-1F) with wind chills down to -26C (-15F). But that's why we melt at 29C (85F), we're just not used to it. But it's also a very sticky, swampy, humid heat in the summer because we're right downwind from the Great Lakes.

It turns out my firewalls blocked the site because it's chock full of viruses. I'm disabling the address so nobody clicks on it. ~ Betty ~

Thanks, but the site's not working. Maybe overloaded & can't handle the bandwidth or traffic?
Getting it from another source
Downloading 3 episodes right now.

Hey Betty, no problem re. the episodes.
It's a bit of a swealter here, but I don't think it's that much different from other years, still gives the media some ammunition during lean spells, I suppose.
I'm a bit of an early riser (3:30 am) so it isn't too bad in the morning at around 22-24c and usually in bed by 7:30 pm with the aircon on full blast! Not good for those who are sick though.

I have the first 3 episodes. I will be working on getting them up in HD quality on our private media server for our members only, in our private viewing area later. If you are not a member or are using ad-blockers, you won't see our private viewing area, or a lot of our other media & many of our pictures.
So shut off your ad blockers or make an exception for them at Betty's & join our group if you want to see what most of our members do.
In the meantime, I put a highly compressed special version of the first episode on one of our public servers for all to see. Do not share the link. It's for our visitors at Betty's only. If I find people sharing or posting the link outside Betty's it may be blocked, disabled, or you may get you or your friends banned from most Betty's sites & domains.
This special compressed public version is only about VHS quality. But it is watchable in full screen on 32" screens if you sit back about 6 feet, or watch on your small screens & portable devices.
Enjoy!

39mb, 45 minutes, 14.4kbs (0.014mbs -- less than a 1mb per minute)
Yes, it will stream even on a dialup connection with bandwidth to spare, & not put a dent in you data limits on your mobile devices.
Right click on the link, & click on "save" "save as" or "download" to download & save it. Click on the expand thingy on the bottom right there to viw full screen.
HD versions of all episodes are coming to our private viewing area soon.

I should have known better to even click on it. Blogspot.com has been a common source of lots really nasty viruses since 2008. I'm surprised 11 years later that they're still carrying lots of malicious sites. Fortunately I was safe & not infected.
147 threats on a single page is pretty massive, even for the most dangerous sites.
I don't use Norton, they suck & really overload systems. The second image is from my AVAST antivirus.

:-\ I'm sorry that site was a threat. I deleted it from my book marks. My windows virus software ran and detected noting was on my computer. Again, I'm sorry.

Some of the infections detected don't infect your computer, they infect your modem & router to turn it into a proxy for the bad guys or for bitcoin mining. Others just reroute some of your traffic to their fake DNS server. I don't think there is an antivirus to detect it or get rid of it.
If you have some way to monitoring your modem traffic to see if there's anything unusual, you may be able to detect it. If you're using an unusual amount of bandwidth, or your connection is slowing down a whole lot for no good reason, it may be a sign that the modem is infected.
You'd have to check with the manufacturer to see how to get rid of the infection. If it's a real old modem or router, you might not get rid of it at all.
Some routers, & modems, all you have to do is shut them & your computers off for about 3 minutes, & it may wipe out any infections when you turn it back on & it reinitializes.
