Hi Betty
Not been able to get on for a few weeks, but now when I try to access stories I get error 403 access forbidden. Is there a problem?

AVAST VPN proxy detected. Shut off, disable, or unsubscribe from AVAST VPN or proxy services. AVAST VPNs use the same VPNs used by criminals, hackers, spammers, & scammers.
Not only that, but the VPNs & proxies that they use rarely hide much, but do slow down your internet speed & connection, so are pretty much pointless.
Our system blocks VPNs & proxies that are detected as being used maliciously. You probably still can get here because this place hasn't detected an attack from the VPN yet, but stories... a much busier place detected attacks from the VPN & blocks it.
AVAST is my favorite free anti-virus. But the extras, bells & whistles, & fluff aren't that good. Skip that stuff, shut it off, or disable it. I use just their web shield, & manual virus scans about once a month, but don't use any of their other stuff. But if you download & install a lot of programs/apps that you know nothing about, you may want to turn on the file shield. If you open a lot of mail from places you never heard of you might want to turn on your mail shield too.
