MERRY CHRISTMAS Betty, andyg, spankypants2 and all our wonderful friends and visitors to Bettys site. Hope you all had a good Christmas and a healthy Happy New Year. This message is a bit late as I just got back into town after spending Christmas with family and no access to a computer.

Yes, the same to all of you as well. Angela,you may have missed Xmas but we still have a few days before New Year's. I still have trouble with years that begin with a 2. They're science fiction dates to me and should all be in the future. For the longest time they always were.

Hey andyg, I hear you about the dates. Time goes by so fast after you retire and you begin to wonder what happened. I always remember reading "1984", "Fahrenheit 451" the science fiction novels or "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sleep" which take place in the future and is now our present. Not even hard to believe in "Terminator" with things like Google or Alexa controlling our lives these days.
