I found that this story shows when you are born religious and your father is a Rabbi nothing matters to a family  unless you are born a male

I know myself I prayed to God every night since the age of 8 that I would wake up a girl and later in life when the priest and my doctor told me I would be sent away to an Institution if I continued to insist I was really a girl. At that point I think I gave up on God and just continued to dress in secret and wear panties all the time for most of my life. It was my one connection to girlhood. I am happy to say two children I know who are Transgender have very supporting parents and doctors. The little one is living her dream of becoming a Ballerina and presenting as a girl and the other a teen who now presents as a boy with loving family and friends all around and who is becoming a very accomplished singer.
