Hi,
It's been months since anyone, including me, has posted. I guess we all miss Betty driving the engine. I still stop in every day to see if anyone has anything to see. At any rate, I visited the Frick Museum yesterday and saw their current Gainsborough exhibition, The Fashion of Portraiture. This is a link to the site. Off to the left side of the screen you will see additional links to click on, one being All Objects which will let you see everything on display.

It's a brilliant show and I recommend anyone in the Metropolitan area to visit if they get the chance. Two of the paintings will be of interest to visitors at Betty's. The first is Master John Heathcote on loan from the National Gallery in Washington, D.C. I've been aware of Master John from a visit to the Gallery many years ago after which I bought a hardboard print of it which I still have. The second is Mrs. Samuel Moody and her sons, Samuel and Thomas, on loan from the Dulwich Picture Gallery in London.
