LOL. I thought the Kardashians were aliens on Star Trek Voyager. To this day the only things I know about them is they had a reality show on "E" & some late night talk show hosts made jokes about them. I did look them up a couple times to see what the fuss was about, but still don't get what the big deal is.

I don't get "E". Going on my 3rd year since I shut off my Directv. Back when I could still afford it, I discovered I only ever watched around 18 channels, & some of those were local channels I could get with an antenna in HDTV for free anyway. So couldn't see the point of paying $79.95 a month for it anymore.

All my TV comes from about 24 channels off an ordinary TV antenna, & from online sources.

Hi Betty,

I don't watch television so my only knowledge of the Kardashians comes from the tabloids and when my co-workers tell me some bit of the latest nonsense. I'm afraid I have no interest at all in reality TV and marvel at the dearth of actual entertainment on television. I imagine that in a few years when I retire I will go back to watching a little television, out of sheer boredom if for no other reason, but I think my viewing will consist of old movies and British sitcoms and shows similar to the kind that used to be on Mystery and Masterpiece Theater. I think I've mentioned that I find it ironic that as a child I watched an enormous amount of television and have a collection of TV Guides, missing one, that runs from the first National edition, April 3, 1953, to when they changed from digest to magazine size. That was a happy day as it meant I could stop collecting. Been looking for that missing one on the auction site for some time now but haven't been able to locate one from the NY Metropolitan area which is what my collection consists of.

Off to the Flickrs.

Yes Betty I gave up on paying for TV myself, I only get about 4 or 5 channels worth watching but they entertain me enough and that 90 bucks or so can go to more needed things.

Watching to old TV shows is just my speed, I have no idea what or who a Kardashien is and I don't mind keeping it that way.

Where I live is between 2 good size mountains and what I get comes in clear but there is a limited number of stations.
