Here's a blog from a woman who sews pageant wear. What is interesting is that she has her son do all her modeling.

Just call me a fashion critic... her pageant wear doesn't look very good, & is quite bland, esp. for custom stuff. One could find better right off the shelf.

The kids seems to enjoy it, but most kids that age like playing dress-up & wearing costumes.
