Just about the time my fingernails have grown long enough where the kitties love getting their back, sides, & neck scratched with them more than a good brushing, they've grown too long to be acceptable for a male in the average public's eye.
So I have to cut them. If I didn't need all the work I can get at almost any cheap price, I wouldn't care about how long my nails are or what people think of it... someday in another universe or time.
