Does anyone know if the German site is still active and if so can you please post the URL.
Also does anyone know of any sites showing pics of boys in dresses.
Hope this post is OK.
Thanks,
Adam

Hi,
I will post the URL as it's not a message board but just an aggregator of clips. Don't think Betty will mind.

We do & always have allowed links to other sites related to our interests.... even commercial sites as long as they offer something at their site for free, like at least cool pix of their products larger than a tiny thumbnail for us to look at.
People & haters spread rumors about us not allowing links to other sites, or simply don't understand the basic rules of us & most forums. Generally across the web, it's considered bad manners to post a link to a site offing the same thing the site you posted it on does. Chevy doesn't advertise at Ford.
We do not allow links to other forums, or sites that are primarily forums or are in forum-like style. If a site has plenty of content of interest to us at the site rather than just a forum, it's OK to link to the site... even if they have a forum too... just don't link to the forum. Links to stories are allowed too, if the stories are in site form & not a forum where anybody can register to post stories & comment on them.
Blogs, or sites that allow comments to their blog, pages, or sites, or have a guestbook comment section are not forums, & are OK to link to here.
Questionable sites are also not allowed. Like sites that have some crossdressing but their primary focus seems more to be about kids rather than our sissy & ABDL tastes. Also untrustworthy sites that have maleware, or in some other way untrustworthy,.. like having links or ads they try to get you to click on that are very bad for you or your computer are not allowed.
If you don't know if a site was safe, that's OK. We can always delete it later if we find out it's bad.
But you may not be doing a site a favor by linking to them at Betty's. Forums & interactive sites are prime targets for hackers. Putting a link up on a popular site or forum can drive a lot of extra traffic there, along with hackers & spammers. Will a site on a free or $10 per month web hosting plan be able to handle the extra traffic? Will the webmaster, moderator, or blogger be able to handle all those spammers & hackers before they crash it, hack it, or bring it down?
Betty's has been around for 20 years. It got a lot of traffic over the years, so is highly ranked on most search engines. Typing typical theme words used at Betty's, or just "Betty Pearl" into a web search puts us at or near the top of the search list, or other sites that link to us. Plus, every extra hit a site gets through a link on a high ranking site, increases their ranking, making them easier to find in searches... including by the bad guys.
Even putting a link up on a popular Yahoo group can increase the amount of spammers & hackers to a site by thousands of times within a month.
There's dozens of new sissy & ABDL sites every month made by regular people. Most of them don't last longer than a month or 2. As soon as they get fair traffic, their free or cheap hosing plan wants more money to handle the extra traffic, or shuts them down. Or, more often they were crashed, hacked, corrupted, or brought down by spammers & hackers that noticed the extra traffic & followed it to the site. The "newbie" couldn't deal with it all, or found out they'll have to pay 25 times more than they planned to for a server plan to support the traffic & security needed to stay online. The days you can have a site that gets thousands of hits per day free or cheap in the 1990s are gone.
If a site expects to stay up reliably, & get thousands of hits per day, they should expect to spend hundreds of dollars per month, a lot of time, & work on it.
People always ask me how to get more hits to a site. Hits are easy. Who's gonna pay all that money, spend all that time & work to deal with all that traffic, plus all the bad guys who follow that traffic? If they get a lot of traffic, it will cost them dearly these days.
