Hi,
This is the front page story on the Styles section of The New York Times.
A Model’s Life, Chapter 2
Will the Fashion World Accept Andreja Pejic As a Woman?

Very interesting, I wasn't aware that she had actually become a woman.
There are pictures with the article as well.

This is news to me also. I always envied him for being able to model woman's clothes on the runway as a "male", but I guess I was fooled. Don't get me wrong, more power to him/her for electing the transition. He will probably be very happy as a Ms. I am too old to entertain such thoughts but still enjoy the illusion when I dress up.

Well it does say that when he started he was still male albeit already taking hormones to stifle his male development. Regardless she was, and is, extraordinarily beautiful.

Looking over the photos she (he) has all the right curves to enhance a female anatomy !
Not a magazine perfect photo shoot for a 'Playboy' centerfold - but then this is not about a nude
runway fashion show.
Andreja Pejic does a wonderful job of displaying the female fashion scene without sexy overkill !

I kind of appreciated her as neither male or female, or as both. I don't know if I'll have the same appreciation of her as just a female only now. I'm gay too, so find a feminine dressed male much more attractive than a feminine dressed female anyway.

It's true, being androgynous allows both sides, and those too complex for either side, an opportunity to lean their view in their direction. Once he/she has taken that step the boundary solidifies a little more and some of the mystery goes away.
