Hi,
My namesake in the comic strip Soup to Nutz is trying to follow his muse for Halloween but subsequently has to settle for being a vampire.

Although I read the news every day, & watch the news on TV several times a day... a different channel almost every time, so I'm not stuck listening to just one side of a story, I still had to look up who the hell is Holly Hobby Lobby on google. Hey, up until last year I thought the Kardashians were the aliens on Star Trek. I guess I skip over a lot of uninteresting stuff when I read the news, & don't tune into news that broadcasts a lot of irrelevant stuff.
For those who don't watch Fox news, & don't tune in to Rush Limbaugh, or aren't from the USA, she's a far-right conservative social media troll.
In the picture, she's the one on the left. The picture on the right is another social media troll from the other side of the world.
BTW, in the USA, if you have a full sized USA flag hanging in your living room or bedroom, you're considered a white trash redneck, not a patriot. But when I was a kid it used to be considered cool to hang a British flag in your room if you were a British rock band fan. In those days, down south people were still hanging & waving Confederate flags. I guess nobody told them they lost the civil war 100 years before, & there weren't many British rock band fans down there.

Hi Betty,
I had no idea. I thought I remembered Holly Hobby as being a doll, which I just Googled and see it was, but I just assumed he was dressed as the doll. Thanks for enlightening me. I don't watch any television aside from a few minutes of the news and weather in the morning so this woman is completely off my radar. Fox is certainly not my station of choice.

Googling "Holly Hobby Lobby" turned up no dolls. Shortened to "Holly Hobby" or "Holly Hobbie" turned up all sorts of doll stuff, & a lucrative greeting card business featuring drawings of girls in old fashioned dresses. Pretty cute stuff with nice dresses.

Seems to me its a combination of two different names. Holly Hobby (the doll) and Hobby Lobby (the crafts store). Just take away one 'hobby'.
