When you are young and cute, just about everything looks good on you.
My problem was the era and place I grew up in, being gay or different was looked down on, which was enough to keep me in hiding.
Maybe in my next life, if I am so fortunate to get a next one, I will not care what others think.

LOL. I hear something similar from almost all the local crossdressers. Most seem to have to get on stage in a local gay bar to lip-sync some song in drag for 5 minutes at least once every 3 months so they can self-proclaim themselves as an "impersonator" or "performer" or "entertainer" while they're in denial to themselves or others that they're a crossdresser.
Here's a hint to the "performers": Anybody can prance & lip sync to a song! It requires NO talent! It also requires no talent to put on makeup & a dress. Most women have been doing it for centuries. And to be a guy that can pass as a girl, has more to do with their physical characteristics, than what they put on or any talent. Some guys can resemble a girl or pass as one even wearing boy clothes & no makeup. Others, even after going through treatments, a sex change, & spending hours with makeup, still look like a horse or John Wayne in a dress.
Meanwhile, it takes these "performers" all day or evening to put on their face & clothes for that 5 minute performance that happens once every 3 months, every month, or once a week. Their closets, drawers, & boxes are packed with women's clothes, they have many or even dozens of wigs, & several large cases of makeup.
But NO! They're not a crossdresser, they're an "entertainer".

I live in the Orlando, Florida area and there are many Cosplay, Supercon and Anime events here. Probably 60% of boys dress in girl costumes. I was 14 when I went to my first Anime costume contest as a girl.

Here's more young fellas I've found in cute Kadona outfits. Some of them look like it might be the same person, but I don't think so. He put on a little weight as he got older, so taller skinner ones that look like it might be the same person, probably aren't.

They can call it Kodona, prince, or pirate style if they like. But really, it's a guy in bloomers, a frilly blouse, & tights or girl's stockings. To me, that's cross-dressing. Maybe they're just too scared to wear a dress or are in denial.

Yes your right of course, I did fail to respond to those posts and she has some great material. Sure wish I was born later in life so I could take advantage of the Harajuku movement and maybe actually pass as a female again. Not been able to do that since I was about 12 years old and I just love those wonderful dresses. You posted some of your favourites awhile ago from Baby the Stars Shine Bright and the other shop whose name escapes me right now. I believe you got a wonderful red frilly dress a few years ago after the loss of your collection in the fire. Was that one called Milanoo ?

With a close shave, effort, & makeup, I could past as a woman. I turn 60 in June. With no wrinkles yet, & hardly any grey hairs, most of my neighbors are surprised when they find out my age. They think I'm upper 20s or low 30s. It comes from my mom's side of the family. At 70 she looked younger than some women did in their 30s & 40s. Just the opposite of my father who looked in his 60s by the time he was 40. But if I grow a goatee, it's pure white since I was 30... very strange with long dark brown hair.
Yeah, during the first year after the fire I stocked up on a 1/2 dozen dresses from Milanoo.com for around $56 each with free shipping. Since then, I only bought 2 more dresses just a few months before I was laid off. They were couple of girls communion dresses for $34 each from Peachy Kids through Amazon. Very pretty.
I ordered a very pretty tutu cheap for myself for Christmas from China through Amazon. I knew the deal was too good to be true for a very frilly ballerina outfit with puffed sleeves. I ordered it in size 16. According to amazon, it was only available in big girls size 14 & 16. When it arrived it was a very tiny thing in about a little girl's size 10. I could have got into a 14, or stretched it a lot if it was 12. But 10 was impossible.
I soaked it then hung it to dry, with heavy weight attached to it, to stretch it as much as possible without tearing it. Finally I got it stretched enough so I could get into it, but it still doesn't fit good.
Here's a pix of me in the red dress about 7 years ago. Below that, a mirror selfie of me in the Peachy kids dress a couple years ago. Lounging around the house my hair gets pretty easily messed up.

Oh Betty, I love the Peachy kids dress in-spite of the blurred photo it looks wonderful. The photo of the Milanoo dress was the one I remember and I love the lace and big bow in front, you look cute in both. Too bad about the ballerina outfit, I have one that fits and two that don't and of course they are the prettiest ones. I just started going through my storage containers where I keep my girl clothes and it is like Christmas looking at things I have not seen in awhile. The problem is many of them don't fit now and some have fallen apart due to age. I will start to purge the old stuff that is in poor condition now and see what wonderful things still fit that I can bring out for Spring if it ever gets here. I didn't realize how many girdles I bought when I was going through that faze, and still have some from the 60's when I first spied my sisters on her bed. Of course I had to try it on and was hooked after that day on.

Aww. So sweet. Some freckles & botches there which is probably why they blurred the image. That's normal on a lot of teens to 20s, even on non-white kids. Some freckles are cute so I restored them. What I hated was in my teens to my 20s was I would get a zit (pimples) from nowhere once in a while. Not much, but when I got them it was like just overnight I'd get just a really huge one right on the front of the nose or my cheek... really nasty & took some time to get rid of. Poke it drain it, & it left an ugly scab, & permanent scar/crater in your face. It was a teenage or sissy nightmare when those things turned up.

Remember, the board only displays pictures no larger than 600 pixels wide & 500 pixels high.
If the pictures are a little larger, although not allowed, it may let you post them as long as they're still under the 60kb image file size limit, but it will always scale them down to the accepted size limit from the full sized image you uploaded to our servers. So it's a total waste of bandwidth & server resources to post pictures larger than will be displayed, because they won't look bigger than 600x500 here.
Also, if I do routine automatic maintenance, it will automatically delete images larger than the 600x500 limit, unless I manually edit all of them down to the correct size. This is to allow people to post slightly oversized pictures if they really want to, as long as they understand that oversized images are only temporary & will get deleted during the next maintenance or cleanup cycle.

Thanks for the info. I was always careful to not go over the 90kb max. and 60 individual but didnt realize the length and width were also important. These latest picts were large so I only posted a couple at a time. I will try to reduce them more.
