Title: Tim Hovey
Post by: andyg0404 on October 29, 2015, 06:04:43 PM
Hi,

Found another publicity still from Everything but the Truth at the auction site. Wonder how many more there are? The distasteful look on his face is priceless. He must be thinking what Jamie said on Small Wonder, how gross can I be, wearing girl's clothes!

I still haven't been able to see that film yet.

I'm not gonna pay Amazon, Turner, & Sony a lot of money to see it. They didn't produce or write it, & did not act in it.

That's got to be the clearest picture of the kid in drag that I've seen yet. It's a shame it's such an ugly dress. Many girls in 1956 wore much prettier stuff.

Hi Betty,

Probably 20 years ago or more, after I had heard about the film, I found someone who sold me a 16MM copy for what was a fair amount of money. I then had it shipped to a man who converted it to VHS for me. It was a treat to see although I was a little disappointed it wasn't a longer scene. It's not a very attractive dress but it's the style of the 50's and I like that style compared to current styles. The ads in my old bound volumes of magazines and newspapers from the 40's and 50's always had little girls in dresses like that.
