Hope this gives you a little pleasure Betty. Even bearing in mind it’s from the Victorian age and this was common, it looks to me this may have been a mother disappointed at not having had a girl.

Hope you are feeling better and have been able to rest. I just read in the newspaper about the earthquake that hit Buffalo. The paper said it was the strongest in 40 years. Hope you weren't affected or inconvenienced.

So sorry to hear that, I am still praying for you but I hold no clout with the big guy having left the Catholic Church awhile ago so to speak. Only returned a few times for my mothers benefit.
