That must mean I've been on the "web" for 24 years, I found your place just after I got my first Home PC and started surfing ... must dig out some of those backups I made from all those years ago

Yes, congratulations are in order. I got my first computer in 1996 so I missed the beginning but I've been around for some time, lurking initially before I worked up the nerve to start posting. Thanks for providing this site for all of us and I hope I make it to see the next 25 years.

Congratulations from me also Betty as I too have been visiting since the mid 90's. It has been a wonderful place to be entertained and educated and even contribute a little bit as well. Thank you also goes to andyg for your contributions each week as both entertaining and educational as well. I do look forward to my visits on Saturday night or Sunday morning to see what you have been up to on the streets of New York. I really do enjoy your  gallery visits almost as much as you except you get to do it in the flesh so to speak. I do need to plan another trip to New York just to follow in your footsteps and view some wonderful collections. Our weather is warming up slowly although they are calling for light snow again on Friday in the Golden Horseshoe of Southern Ontario. Hope you are doing OK these days Betty as you don't seem to post much lately. Stay well my friend.

Hi old gal (virtual...). 

Been a long time and what a ride.  I think I found you when I was just starting to fashion my site back on the free locations.  If memory serves and it doesn't most times, it was Anglefire in 1997, then GeoCities and finally Tripod around 2000.  I think that's when I risked owning my own domain marybethsanford.com  launched on September 27, 2001.   Seems like a lifetime ago.   Nice to see your restoration up.  Thank you for that.

Hello Mary Beth, hope you are doing well these days. I think I have followed you since the days of Angelfire and loved your posts and pictures and stories. It is hard to believe we have all been through so much over the years but it is nice to still see you all posting. We never did learn how to turn back the clock anywhere but in our minds but at least we still have our dreams of the little girls we were/ are, playing tea parties and dress up and being absorbed into the stories we read or wrote. Betty has done a great job of preserving your wonderful things and her wonderful site and knowing how much work it is to manage all this I send my heartfelt thanks. I am glad to still see some of our old friends pop in sometimes and see some new names as well but I wish the newbies would tell us their stories or contribute anything to continue to make this a wonderful place to visit. Come on girls you can do it or at least try. Thanks again and take care my friends.
