Title: Pretty dress from the 1900s

Mom & daughter in a very pretty dress walking down Main near High street in my town around 1900.

This was back in the days when diaper & petticoat punishment was quite common. The idea was if you behaved "immature" you were forced to wear a diaper or a dress like a small child would.

Can you imagine having to wear this pretty outfit with a diaper all day for being rude?

This could be a Mom & her son.

Love those old photos, spend far too long on the web researching them ... :-\

If you look carefully, you can even see the slight bulge of nappies .... ;)

I love fancy old style girl's dresses. So much work went into them, they were almost art.
