Halloween dressing.
« on: October 18, 2016, 09:38:05 PM »
I am looking forward to Halloween night to see how many boys appear at my door dressed as girls. Last year we had 65 kids but only one was wearing a skirt, sweater and lace ankle socks with mary jane type shoes. I thought it was a real girl until one of his friends called his boy name and got a punch in the arm for doing it in front of me. I complimented him on how nice he looked and then asked him who he got the clothes from. He said his sister helped him dress and then he ran off with his friends . I would have liked a photo but it was too late he was gone. Is anyone here going out dressed as a girl this year ?

Last year was a disappointment. Worldwide I saw significantly less crossdressing around Halloween than previous years. People still crossdressed for Halloween, but it was much less than I ever saw before for the holiday.

I stopped by a costume shop last week and found that French Maid and Alice In Wonderland were the two costumes that sold out first and the fastest both in Adult and child versions. I would like to think that some boys are going to be wearing these but only time will tell. Both versions of Alice were gone, the modern version and the traditional style. The modern version has the very short frilly tutu style skirt and thigh length hold up stockings while the traditional is the blue longer dress with puffy sleeves and white pinafore. I would like to see a boy wear the short version but in the last 10 years most boys who would wear an Alice costume would go traditional style.
