LOL. Yep, even as a teen if someone or something interrupted the conversation, I'd have to ask what we were talking about because I have no idea anymore.

"Um... Um... Oh shyt. What was I about to say?" Or as many teachers, instructors, or professors would say at least once a week, "Where were we?"

Always, then & now if involved with a complicated task, I'm afraid to to stop until I'm done, because if I stop, I might lose track of where I left off, or loose the thought-train of the project.

Especially when coding or programming, one has to keep a pretty good idea of what was done, & where it's leading to. Almost impossible for complex programming & coding if there's interruptions, distractions, or even too many breaks.

Most of us will even mis-type our own name if interrupted or distracted. This is why we outlawed phones when driving.
