How to recognise a sissy ?

In several stories I have read where the dominant female says she can always recognise a sissy even when they are not en femme.
I wonder what others think of this,I don't think I am readily recognisable but who knows!

With most males, you can't tell if they like to dress like a girl or woman, be female, or a submissive just by how they look or act, unless they deliberately show it.

One could say that a male who is feminine, or not macho is a sissy or gay. But most non-macho males have no desire to crossdress, be submissive, or are gay.

It's actually quite rare for a crossdresser or gay person to also be feminine when out in the normal public dressed as a guy, acting the way they normally do. They're just the ones who stand out the most.

I don't think I have been able to detect somebody I would say was a true sissy and I don't think I have ever come across as a sissy in my adult life. When I was younger that was my fathers favourite taunt for me if I did not want to play baseball or soccer or I was bad at any macho type of task he set me like joining the local boys playing hockey. He was pretty upset when he overheard me telling mom I wanted to try Ballet. I then secretly joined my girlfriend taking Figure Skating lessons and that was the next best thing to Ballet in my eyes. The bonus was she lent me tights to skate in and I was overjoyed. I am almost 90% sure nobody I know is aware that I always wear panties and tights under my clothes and have done most of my life. I have often thought VPL would give me away though (visible panty lines). It could be said I am a sissy if you saw me entertaining as I am always flitting around making sure everyone has enough to eat and drink and the place is neat and tidy.
