Testes not dropped?

Does the fact that testes have not dropped in to the sac prior to adolescence lead to effeminate development in boys or even partial intersex?
Mine didnt come down till I was nearly 12.

Interesting question jeangurl and one I don't know the answer to but it does lead to the fact that I have known two boys like that who I would classify as effeminate. Both were friends in middle school who I joined the basketball team with and of course the subject came up in a round about way in the showers at the YMCA.  Like myself both of my friends were more or less forced into the sport by fathers who thought we were not manly enough. Although we stuck together somewhat and giggled like school girls sometimes I did not stick it out for the long haul as I did not like any sports much. I would rather hang with the girls in my class and neighbourhood. These two did play for the season though and were pretty good together. I am not sure what became of them or their friendship.

I actually was quite good at sport but also liked dancing and was in several choirs until my voice eventually broke at 14 ….this of course got me the sissy tag as all the boys thought I talked like a girl and probably looked like one not having facial hair at all till my late teens.

Hey jeangurl, I too was in the choir as one of two small fair haired boys who sang soprano until about aged 14 also. I loved to sing but did not like being the center of attention and was frequently nervous performing. I wanted to take dance lessons but dad said no way so I signed up for Figure Skating lessons with my girlfriend and her little brother. It was wonderful and almost like dancing to me. My dad was not happy about it but I said I am paying for it my self and I am not quitting. I did not know until later in life that he watched me practice one day and told mom I was pretty good. When mom told me that I was in my 40's and he was gone and I was mad and sad at the same time. I wish he had told me just once, I would have been so happy. I spent most of my life thinking I was a disappointment to him, the girly boy who sometimes wore girls clothes, sang like a girl and was a Figure skater. The other sport I liked and was pretty good at was Skiing and also a somewhat graceful sport. Dad never said anything about me doing that though.

Testes that don't drop simply don't produce viable semen.  I know a boy cousin went and had minor surgery for one that didn't "descend".  I guess they've got to dangle outside to remain cooler than the body.  Not sure if that had an impact on development.

I was lucky...   I'm American Indian and German given me Raven black hair, little body hair and I would pluck my facial hair all the time.  I lived for a time in Oklahoma and let my hair grow but had to cut it when I came to California.  I was teased but not often because I fought in Golden Gloves and was quick to fight in the streets.   Track and swimming was my sport.  I would shave my entire body for swimming..... Loved that part.

Angela and Marybeth thanks for your replies guess we had similar childhoods I loved dancing singing but also Rugby and had to fight often at school and in the street because I was The sissy.
Didnt need to shave my body or face (Teste related?) I was in my twenties before I had to shave regularly (face).

Hey jeangurl, I remember in England when I was 6 or 7 and my dad wanted me to play Rugby for the school. I told him I did not want to but he bought the boots anyway. Total waste of money but he took me off to the practice and I hated it. I refused to go again and he was upset. I tried to tell him not to buy the boots but he did not listen to me and after that he said I was a sissy. I was upset and told my mom but she said I should have tried harder. After that I just retreated into my shell and played by myself or read my books. When they said we were going to Canada I thought it was on Holiday but when they said we were moving there I was a bit scared and sad to leave my aunts who spoiled us rotten. When we got to Canada in the Fall we thought it was pretty until the snow came then it was pretty and cold. Next thing I know dad said I should Join the Boy Scouts but after one meeting with a bunch of bullies I was done. Again he said I was a sissy but I just ignored him and come spring he was pushing me into a baseball team so I rebelled again. The girl my sister played with was taking ballet and when I saw her practicing I asked mom if I could try it but of course we had no money for lessons so that was the end of that. I managed to avoid any further pushing from dad as he was busy working or trying to find work when he was laid off and when he did find a steady job it was out of town so he was gone quite a bit and I was playing quite happily with my sister and her girlfriends. Like you I had not much hair on my face or body and did not need to shave until I was nearly 20 and then not much to shave really but mom bought me the razor and shaving foam etc. for my 18 th. birthday.

Angela pity we didn't go to the same schools Lol as you can see from my photo my mum wanted me to be a girl or at least a sissy so she dressed me that way …

Hi jeangurl, I always liked that photo of you and that cute outfit you are wearing. The closest I came to anything girly was wearing a Kilt when I was younger as part of my family are Scottish and Irish and some English on my fathers side. We did spend some time in Scotland when I was younger. I grew up in Manchester and went to St. Peters school until I was 7 when we moved to Canada in the Fall of 57 and I had turned 8 by then. Even at school, which I did not like very much I always hung round with the girls and played their games etc. I have school photo's from my last year and can name some of the girls to this day but none of the boys. There was one boy who like me was shy and a bit feminine as they would say and he was the only one I talked to sometimes but I can't recall his name for sure. I think it was Collin but the photo has no class names on it so I am not sure.

Angela oddly enough Colin is one of my names but with one L.
wouldn't it be great to see what has become of the kids from school,probably we would be surprised at those who are gay and or sissy etc and those who were sissies who are now macho men or ladies lol.
