A mother in texas  is transgendering her 6yo son against his father's wishes and has the courts in her corner.
The father has set up a youtube channel to gain support for his side of the story

personally I would not chemically castrate a child on his 8th birthday!

This seems like a bitter divorce and the child may or may not be genuinely interested in becoming transgender.

To me, it is better to err on the side of caution.  I would prevent the mother from having any irreversible procedures done to the boy.  If he truly feels this way, it can be done later.

It is sad that a mother would do that against her son wishes to spite an Ex. If the boy truly loves to dress as a girl then let him do it but don't push any procedure that is not urgent. He is too young to undergo that right now and may not even be aware of the fact it will alter his body. Sad situation for all concerned.
