The blog went viral. It's all over Facebook too. Unfortunately upon further investigation, it appears the lady writes for drama, not for truth. After reading her past stuff, it's not just for page clicks, but it turns out she's a real fruitcake too.
Sadly everyone keeps forwarding the link around, & circulating it on Facebook as a shocking true story. It's even been on some of the major news & media. Red flags went up as soon as I first read the story. It didn't quite add up & looked suspicious to me. So I asked questions & investigated further.
Now I know how the wrong people keep getting elected, & why con-artists are so successful. Everybody seems to believe a shocking or dramatic story. Nobody asks questions or looks no further than what's placed in front of them.
Not everything on the internet or on facebook is the truth folks, & just because the news picks up on the story doesn't make it more credible.
On Facebook, except for advertisers, promoters, & people out for lots of page clicks, & page "likes/shares" for all sorts of reasons, it's mostly full of gossiping people & their friends. They love a juicy or dramatic story, or quick joke & cartoon. It is not a reliable source of information, or a reliable source about the person. It's for entertainment purposes & not real. It's all about getting lots of FB friends, clicks, likes, & shares.
