They added some kittens & packing paper (a favorite with my cats too) to play with today on the cat cam.
All those cabinets & drawers there, & not a single cat tries to open them. Every cat I've owned was opening all the cabinets & drawers within weeks of arriving.
The kitten cam is cute today too. But this current batch of kittens seems to just lay around sleeping a lot more than their previous batches. It makes me sleepy just watching.
My kitties were good & didn't wake me up this morning. When I got up at 7:30am, they were still sleeping. They were up & missing in the middle of the night, but didn't make noise, so I was able to fall back to sleep. Woke up briefly around 5am when they came back to bed, but as soon as they curled up against me, I fell back to sleep. They've been extra good this morning, quiet, & cuddly. Maybe they know it's mother's day. They think I'm their mother.
I can't cuddle, pet, or brush them without a shirt on, or they'll go after my nipples like I'm their mommy. OUCH! Not fun or cute... they have sharp teeth & razor sharp nails!
Humidity is back down this morning, so why am I still breathing like crap? I got out of breath just making coffee, so stalled making breakfast until much later. Then, I got out of breath just making corn flakes for breakfast. I know that's not a good breakfast, but it was quick & easy. So I won't be traveling for Mother's Day today. My mom passed away a few years back, but we still celebrate the holiday.
Oh well, breathing is usually the worst in the mornings. Maybe it will get better sometime this afternoon.
