WOW, I can't believe that St. Patricks Day is coming soon either. Thanks for that pre St. Patty's show, the pics are great. So many wonderful dresses. My family is Irish on my mothers side and my grandfather was one of those willy little Irish men who looked like a Leprechaun. One of the few photo's I have of him is in an old top hat with a huge bottle of Irish whiskey under his arm. It was taken in the early forties at a St. Patties Day parade in Manchester, England. he died before I was born at the age of 61. Most of my mothers sisters have lived until their 80's and my mother was 90 when she died in 2013. Her oldest sister is still going at 93 and living on her own in England. She and my mother both smoked like crazy, at least two packs a day and my aunt may reach 94 this year if all goes well. I hope I inherit those genes although with my arthritis advancing rapidly now my quality of life may be a lot harder to deal with.
