Happy St. Patrick's Day, Friday!
http://unclegadget.com/media/Stpats12310_n-1.mp4Our town has 2 parades. One for traditional old school conservative old men on Friday. That one doesn't get mentioned much. It's held in the old original Irish neighborhood of the town, but is now mostly inhabited by hoodlums & minorities in modern times. They don't allow gays or trans in that parade.
The big, city & public sponsored popular parade is on Sunday. That one starts downtown & ends in my area in the Allentown Arts district about 7 short blocks from my house. That one allows everybody.
I read it might hit the mid 30s F for the weekend, but that's probably not warm enough to melt all this snow we just got. We got about 12 inches around my house since last night, with more to come. In some surrounding suburbs they had 2-3 feet of snow.
So as usual, all the kids in their short solo dresses & all the drag queens in their skimpy outfits will be freezing.
Hard to believe it was almost 60F a little over a week ago, & the first day of spring is Monday -- Which brings another big day. I've been saying Betty's is almost 23 years old for a few months now. On the first day of spring, Betty's is officially 23 years old.
Originally from our usenet newsgroup (under a newsgroup/usenet name) for gays & crossdressers started in 1981, the sissies & I from there moved to "Betty's Sissyboys" on the new fangled internet. It took about a week to put together, & test on a forum "service", but was publically available to everyone on the first day of spring, 1994.
About a month later, we started the story board, as our main board was becoming cluttered & overloaded with stories.
