Just when you thought we were done covering just about every pigtail, curl, bow, ribbon, & pretty dress in the series, now I just made a couple tribute videos of it.

They contain all the pictures from the Little House gallery - - Over 1,200 of them. Too much for 1 video, so like the gallery, it's split up into 2 videos about a half hour long. So you don't have click through tons of pages of the gallery when you just want to sit back & chill to some pretty dresses, bows, & cute hair. You can just click on the video to watch all of it.

I don't think I need to tell everyone how to download & save those videos anymore, if you want to keep a copy... it's old news now.

They're at my 1 of 2 of my You Tube channels. Don't forget to click on the "like" there, subscribe, or share the link to my channels. The more "likes", shares, views, & subscribers, the better the chances are of them running high paying ads on the channel so I can make a little back. So far I've only made 28 cents on the You Tube channel because most ignore the ads, hardly anybody goes there, & most use an ad blocker so don't see the ads anyway.

These took a lot of time & effort, plus it took over a year to originally capture, enhance, compile, compress, & post those 1,200 pictures of the entire series to a couple of the many galleries we have (and server costs to serve them all to you). So less than 24 hours after putting up the video, I have 9 copyright claims against the music on them. That's total BS, they're all public domain pieces. Part 2 is a single piece from 1939 that has no copyrights. Part 1 is stuff recorded from 1900 to 1920. Many were recorded at the Edison recording company because they made the best piano recording at the time. So all the music in part 1 was recorded almost 100 years ago or more. I cleaned them up a little. But there's also a few where there was no performer & no recording artist. Some of them were player pianos automatically playing player piano rolls made by the Aolean Skinner company in 1900-1919.

So I just got done spending a couple hours filing a detailed dispute to each 9 of the claims, one at a time. You can't just tell them to go F-off because they're liars & cheats just looking for money with fake copyright claims. Both google & the claimant read your dispute, so it has to sound reasonable & legal, with siting the sources of the content in dispute.

Of course, anybody can take some public domain music, make digital copies or CDs of it, then turn around & claim rights to it. But just because they made copies to sell doesn't give them the copyright to the original material.

Almost always these are bogus claims made by shady companies out to make a quick buck off people who don't know better. But a couple months ago I had a dispute with RCA & Sony. It was a 1934 Public Domain piece. RCA made a copy of it to sell in the 1950s. Sony made a copy to sell in the 1990s. But they didn't buy or own the rights to it. It was public domain so not for sale. They may have remastered & enhanced the recording, just like any of us can do on a computer, but that doesn't give them exclusive copyrights to the original material just because they copied or modified it.

There you are. I was getting worried about you. Suddenly you've only been turning up every 2-3 weeks. We're not getting any younger & anything could happen, so I get very concerned when you kids disappear for a while. So many have vanished off the face of the earth without warning over the past 22 years.

Yep. Betty's turns 22 tomorrow -- or around the first day of spring. I remember having a goal about moving our usenet newsgroup to the web & having it officially launch by spring. But depending on if it's a leap year or not, the official equinox varies about a day some years. I believe spring was on the 20th in 1994. Either way, I had the board running, & a few members before the actual spring opening. I just signed on under the name "admin" when I was working on the move & making it. It wasn't until the official spring launch that I decided I need a name there other than "admin". I had a yahoo login as frillypink, but that sounded too sissy generic.

I only sifted through a couple dozen names in my head that I made up for about 10 minutes before deciding on "Betty Pearl". So Betty Pearl was born on the first day of spring in 1994. I figured I could always change the name to something else later. There was no mention of Betty's in the sites except that I was the moderator/admin. Before that on the usenet, it was a gay & crossdressing group since 1981, not a sissy or ABDL group & Betty Pearl didn't exist (before the internet we had the usenet).

Back then there was no google. Most searched through Alta Vista or Yahoo. After a few months people who wouldn't bookmark our sites (probably on shared computers), would get to us just by searching "Betty Pearl" or Betty Pearl sissyboys, or Betty Pearl stories. So I was stuck with the name, but I got used to it as my "other" name quickly. That was great. As long as I didn't change my name, I could change web services, or domains, & people could still find us because they were actually searching for "Betty Pearl" rather than an address, or theme.

Eventually it got to be every sissy site I ran had to have the name Betty Pearl in it, other than just as my login name, so people could find us in a search... especially if we moved. A newbie may not have heard of Betty Pearl, but a sissy search will reveal the name, so they eventually figure it out. The better search engines, & google quickly figured out that 99% of the people searching for "Betty Pearl" were searching for us, & not an old gay bar review, or a long lost relative.

I would have never guessed that Betty's would still exist 22 years later.

Sorry about the 360p quality of the video. These were uploaded in 720p, so the sharpest pix looked clear. But yesterday I could only get the first one to play at 480p, the rest were stuck at 360p. Today, they're all stuck at 360p resolution no matter what browser, OS, or computer I use. The smaller images from the gallery, blown up to full video size would look a bit blurry anyway, but there were a lot of crisp 500-600p images blown up to 720p that looked great. At 360p, those crisp ones only look a little better than VHS tape.

22 years .... wow that has flown by! I've been tagging along for probably 20 ish years, and enjoyed every incarnation of your sites.

All being well, donations willing, here's to another 22! I'd like to be still around for that one !!

Another 22? It's a struggle just to make ends meet every month. I can't keep anything nice, because I'm constantly selling my stuff to pay the bills, or buy food. But I do usually turn a profit out of it. I lost almost everything in the fire, then when I moved to a much smaller place a few years ago, I had to leave half of what I re-accumulated behind because there was no room for it. So I don't have much. Everything I own that's worth anything I got used, broken, or defective for free or real cheap. Then I'd fix or rebuild it. But just about the time I got it working or looking good, I have to sell it.

At least once every month or 2 Betty's almost closes because it would be impossible to fund it anymore. But somehow, so far, at the last minute we've been able to barely scape by for another month.

You'd think with an average of 4,000 different people coming to Betty's every day generating an average 12,000-13,000 hits a day, it would be easy-peasy to be publicly funded through user donations. But only around 2-6 people donate every month, & it's usually the same people who always donate, paying more than their fair share while the other 99.9% of our users never give a penny.

I know some may not want to donate to a sissy site through their financial institution, to keep their sissy & ABDL interests secret. But one can just buy a pre-paid Pay-Pal card at a local store. I own several domains & many sites, so a donation to Pearl Networks or PSK Research (they're both me), will not show in your financial records as a something for a sissy site. I help online with a lot of tech, science, or computer questions & problems, so if a donation to us were to ever be questioned you can say you donated for free computer or tech help with something at Unclegadget.com/PSK Research.

Nobody has to know I own both the tech sites & the sissy sites. If you donate at Betty's pages, it shows as Pearl Networks. If you donate through the Pay Pal at an Unclegadget site, is shows as to PSK Research. Both refer to the UncleGadget.com domain, which no longer carries sissy material, but does store & perform backups for here (I keep backups at home too), & is also our security server for all the sites.

Even at YouTube, there's a separate Betty Pearl & PSK Research channel. A donation shows as a donation to me for free stuff, sites, & services I offer, not as a donation to a sissy site. It's just like clicking on the donate button at a free app or help site you like. You're donation to me as an owner of many free sites & services.

Hi Betty, it is nice to know that somebody notices when we are absent. I have been battling a real bad cold these past few weeks and just when I think it has done with me it sneaks back in and makes me miserable again. It was so bad that I resorted to the usual drugstore remedies to make me comfortable. Well they didn't and my blood pressure went through the roof. It seems with all the meds I take I cannot use any cold medications. The doctor gave me hell for not reading the warnings on the boxes or the profile warnings on my arthritis medications. Anyway I am hoping it has gone now and that Spring will make me feel better. I went out to do some errands today and also took a drive in the country. It was nice although a bit cold but I discovered an old country lane I had not been down before. Some nice farms and some old century homes and then a herd of 8 white tailed deer ran across the road in front of me and went bouncing into the woods. That was in a small gully and when I drove up the hill and turned a bend in the road I saw a huge new mansion on the hill. It must have been 10,000 square feet or more with a nice white Range Rover in front and a large pool complex out back. I sure would like to see the heating and cooling bills for that place. Whoever owns it must like their privacy as it is well back off the road and in a very secluded place I came upon by accident.
Anyway thanks Betty for asking about me and I did miss my visits here and your wonderful posts.
