Nope. It's about making an effort before posting your picture on the internet for the world to see. You don't see too many pix of people when the first get up in the morning after a long weekend night either because most people look like crap then.
Besides, these pictures were modeled & taken purely for their shock value. They were not intended to be artsy, cool, interesting, or to promote transgender awareness. They were created just to stand out & get noticed.
If you're gonna put on girls clothes, take pix of it for the whole world to see on the internet, please shave off your beard, or most people will think it's just a college frat prank or bet, a Halloween or party costume, or you're just doing it for attention or money. If you don't look & act like you're serious about it, nobody's gonna believe you're serious about it.
I can understand not wanting to shave a beard off every time someone puts on a dress, but don't post pix of it on the internet then. Why? For the same reason you usually shouldn't post pictures of yourself taking a crap or barfing... it don't look good.
I'm not gonna get a close shave every time I put on something pretty... in my home nobody else is gonna see me anyway. But I'm not taking pictures unless I look a little better. If they're so attached to their beard that they never want to shave it off, not even when they crossdress for a picture, they're probably not really a crossdresser or have other issues rather than being a crossdresser (lke just trying to get attention like an expositionist would). Seriously, what true crossdresser can honestly say they love their beard that much, that they won't even shave it for world wide public pictures of them in a dress?
As for as shaving legs... they have tights & stockings to cover that. Some styles & colors (black, flesh colored, etc) aren't just for little girls either. I naturally have almost no body hair, but even if I did, there are options to look good when you can't or won't shave your legs.
This doesn't help our cause either. Posting pix of crossdressers looking ridiculous, makes us look like crazy people, fools, & clowns.
It's like those few gays at every public gay pride parade or event who dress & act like fools, or act out very obscene gestures, motions, & language in public during the event. To an outside world that doesn't know or understand the gay community these people set a poor public example of gays. There's only a handful of people like that at those events, but because the look so ridiculous, & act so outrageous, they're the ones that get noticed, photographed, & covered by the media.
Some people abnormally crave attention or public attention. Some love the limelight, even if it's bad limelight. It's an illness & disorder that has nothing to do with being gay or a crossdresser. But because people with that disorder are the first to jump into the public eye, or in front of a camera, they're the ones that get noticed.
If you're gonna be a bearded lady, & look or act like a circus sideshow, just join the circus. Don't join the public gay pride parade or event, claim you represent us, or post pictures of it on the world wide web.
If someone wants to get noticed as a ridiculous or crazy nightmare, fool, or clown in public (and enjoys that kind of attention), don't claim you represent us. We already get enough bad press from the media, news, movies, & TV shows. And it looks like shit anyway.
