At that young & influential age she shouldn't be screwing with the kids head by using him as her own living dressup doll. He'll have plenty of time later in life to wear a tutu, fairy wings, & tights when he really wants to. At that young an age, he probably cares about as much about tutus as he does for the Horizons space probe on it's way to Pluto.
I probably wound up the way I did by witnessing boys being punished by putting them in little girl dresses, bonnets, & diapers in kindergarten. They sent all the boys from all the classes in the school down to the kindergarten class to be punished that way by the kindergarten teacher... I guess she was famous in the school for it.
I think the faculty liked petticoat & diaper punishment a little too much, or just like the mother in the article, a few women just like using kids as their dressup dolls, so looked for excuses to punish them that way.
I don't remember them putting girls, or older girls in baby girl clothes & diapers there. They only did it to the boys.
I remember even when I was older, passing the kindergarten class & occasionally seeing a boy standing high on a table on display in front of the class dressed like a frilly diapered little girl with a ruffled bonnet, rattle, & pacifier (dummy). She always set them up in front near the door so everybody passing in the hall can clearly see them too.
