Russia is real hard core homophobic & anti transgender. Many people & gangs roam through cities looking for anybody they suspect is "different" to beat up & kill. The police & government do nothing about it because they support these attacks.

If they want to improve their traffic safety, ban vodka & drugs, & make people take driving lessons. The country is full of drunks & crooks. Almost every government official & cop is corrupt.

People who move out of Russia never ever go back even for a brief visit.
