Too cold for mini skirts right now in the colonies. Our legs would freeze solid & break off. We're all wearing warm fuzzy stuff unless we're standing close to the heat or a fire. Be careful those skirts don't ignite girls.

Today it's a toasty -7C (19F) outside. I remember back in November thinking how terribly cold 19F was, & yes that's unusually cold for November around here. But today 19F feels so warm. It's all relative, anything above -12C (10F) feels like a blessing to us right now.

Men wearing mini-skirts - - -
I have several from Sister Fun Bunny a seller in the UK - website LINK:

While as Betty makes note that wearing mini-skirts in the Winter can be hazardous to ones health.
Never the less it can be done layering up and wearing suitable leg wear pantyhose; tights and leggings.
And when it is to the point of windchill factors and flash (flesh) freezing then consider wearing the damn pants.

Hi,

I remember as a child seeing the little girls in their school uniforms, the white blouse with the pleated skirt and knee socks, walking around in the dead of winter and I always wondered how they didn't freeze to death. Couldn't imagine going outside that exposed. Really can't imagine it now.

I remember when it would get this cold, girls would wear heavy slacks under the dress, very similar to today's sweatpants. They were even commonly grey colored, but came in other colors too. But girls wearing slacks or shorts in schools was absolutely forbidden until after 1970 around here. So they would have to remove them at the door before entering the school. There we a few liberal schools that would allow them to get to the coatroom or lockers to remove the slacks though. But we had only very rare days where it would get to the single digits or lower in those days, instead of weeks or months of it like now. Single digits & lower temperatures were a big event, got on the national news, & not commonplace like they are now here.

I remember thinking how annoyed I was with Feb. temperatures in the low 20s most of the month, with only a few days even colder, just a few years ago. The past 2 years that would have been far much nicer than this.

It's only too cold for a miniskirt if you're not otherwise dressed up warm.  Just last week, on a night when there was snow forecast, I went to a party in a miniskirt.  I had on thigh high nylons on my legs which was fine for indoors when there were a lot of people in the room.  When I had to go outdoors to clean the snow off my car, I had on a long trench coat which came down below the tops of my boots (I brought boots to change into for traveling knowing the weather).  So despite it being cold and snowy, I was still warm enough in a miniskirt.

Another organization trying to stop violence against women is Walk a Mile in Her Shoes (http://www.walkamileinhershoes.org/).  They help other organizations fundraise by having people (most often men) walk a mile in red high heeled shoes.  Here is one video.
