"Just for Laughs" is a Canadian show of the "Candid Camera" variety (for those who remember "Candid Camera").  The crew sets up a situation and entice an unsuspecting victim -- in this case the guy they asked to run the yard sale while they "went to the rest  room" (or whatever).
