Hey all,

anyone have any idea why PDQ hasn't been updated since October? They normally have a bumper update for Christmas but so far nothing :-(

I hope "Auntie Helga" is ok and not succumbed to this damn pandemic.

Sadly "Auntie Helga" has passed away. Some of the moderators on the site are trying to keep the forum going but are unable to do anything with the actual web site.

That is sad news. A bit surprised about access to the web site, I always assumed it was loosely linked with prims petticoat wendy house. Ah well, hopefully someone will be able to retrieve and continue the great work of Susan Macdonald.

Like the rest of the planet I am trying to keep out of Covids path. I just read alisons post re: deaths of our friends who posted such amazing material in the past. Time marches on and we can't seem to slow it down or avoid the circumstances of it's advancement.Let us hope 2022 will be a bit better for us all.

Merry Xmas to you and Betty and the other board members as well. I couldn't visit with my friends last year, after having done so for 20 years, so I was pleased to be able to do so this year. Good friends are our most valuable assets. And once again we're wishing for the plague to be gone in the New Year. Here's hoping.

Thank you andy & Betty. We had a small family dinner this year for obvious reasons but also because of some deaths and illness in the family. Not Covid related but still concerning enough for them to stay away. It is usually at least 23 or more for dinner but less last year and only 10 this year due to restrictions. I am just keeping my contacts to a minimum for now and trying to limit shopping but I have not done any online shopping as I would rather choose my produce myself and also bulk buy anything I like that is on sale. Since Covid started I have quite a large pantry set up but still like my fresh bread and milk and eggs if the farms around here have driveway kiosks on the honour system so no contact needed. The price for fresh eggs is also much better and I can buy only 6 if I want or 12 if needed. I still got together with some friends from Florida who were getting ready to head home for Christmas but I will not be joining them this winter until the numbers come down quite a bit. I just got my third shot / booster and I am hoping it keeps the Covid wolf from my door. Anyway heres hoping for a great New Year and a safe 2022 for us all.
