What makes a photo 'sissy?'
« on: January 11, 2013, 10:09:04 AM »
This is a photo of a friend of mine.

She always described herself as a lifelong sissy, though now she's a postop woman.

For me, this photo epitomises her sissy side but why?

I think it might be that her hair, though feminine, leaves a little ambiguity? It COULD be a boy?

Well, it was, of course, when this photo was taken.

The good news is, even though postop, she still loves to play dressup and was responsible for my own look in my avatar.

Just for contrast, another photo, same girl, roughly the same date but, for me, all girl and doesn't have that same sissy interest. (Though it still shows her love of dressing up and the dramatic.)

Hi Cat,

Methinks a little corset training would finish the look off perfectly with a nice hour glass figure.

Oh trust me. She's not afraid of a little tight lacing:

Hi Cat,
Looks somewhat painful <lol> but certainly works. Still think I prefer my nappy to that tight strap between the cheeks <lol>

Yeah. I don't like the idea of my expensive sissy clothes going up my butt & smelling like it just after an hour or 2 session. I'm a naturally gaseous person... even as a kid. I'd be farting all over it. Washing (especially machine washing) wears & tears clothes more than wearing them. So unless I had a good workout or sweated in them, I'm not throwing my sissy stuff in the laundry just because I wore them only an hour or so.

I feel what makes a photo a "sissy photo" is how the person transforms themselves from their "male" gender and adds the fine adornments of the feminine style, such as the wearing of ruffles, lace, satin; and then also regresses the "boy" to a "girl" image.  I myself, like to do a bit of unmasking the feminine side of myself, by the wearing of ruffled plastic panties and little mary jane shoes with puffy Peter Pan collar type of blouses, thereby demasculinizing the outer image, but just enough to know that their is a boy present under those pretty things he is wearing.  Thus, Sissy Baby Johnnie is born!
