"Curiouser and curiouser," as Alice said.  You haven't changed anything, I haven't changed anything, but today Avast is happy and I am having no problems with the page....

I only see 20 pics on the linked-to page, and although they appeared to be links, clicking on them had no effect. BUT... I notice if I right click and select "open in new tab" I get a larger sized version of the picture.

Actually, I did change something. In the first post where the original image links were, the image site no longer exists, but the web hosting for that site still does. Shortening the image's URL to go to the domain, redirected me to the domain's hosting page, with links to stuff & weird search engines I never heard of. So rather than having a blank space in the original post, I deleted the image links, & added the notice that the image server no longer exists.

Perhaps your browser or anti-virus is set to jump ahead, & check all links on a page, & all links on those pages... even if you don't intend on going there. Seems like a horrible waste of computer, browser, & antivirus resources, & huge bandwidth consumption of your internet connection to have them set to go clicking all over the page, & then go clicking all over the pages at the links. I'd never allow a setting in my browser or A-V to do that. And because the image links were not clickable, no longer functioning, & invisible, it seems like a useless task for a browser or security software to do that anyway.

Thanks monikahottie, some of those were the ones I saved years ago.

OOPS I cant attach them ; they're all above 60k each... will have to resize....

You can get the pix pretty large here & still fit, by just using a little compression. A free program called irfanview does some pretty nice basic image management, including sharpening, re-sizing, & compression. Some compression won't be noticeable to the human eye, & there's also lossless compression where file sizes are smaller without any alteration in the quality of the original picture.

A movie on an ordinary 400-480p single or dual layer DVD can be 3-8gb in size, Yet the same 720p blu-ray movie can be compressed in h264, in a mp4 or mkv container to only 700-800mb in size but still look as good as the blu-ray version.

We allow up to 60kb per image (recommended no taller or wider than 500 pixels) posted through the board & this server (also at stories). You can post up to 4 images per post as long as the total of all the pix in the post are under 90kb. With a little compression, that's a fairly large image for posting on a forum through it's own image server.

Of course, the actual viewing size will vary depending of your monitor size & your computer's resolution settings. Betty's is designed to be best viewed in 720p-768p. If you have your resolution set higher... like a lot of monitors & TVs will go up to 1080p or more, you'll find text, images, & most sites will look too small. If you're viewing on a 4-foot or larger screen, that may not matter much, but most are using 15"-32" monitors, or even smaller laptops & tablets. So setting your resolution lower will actually make sites, text, & images bigger, & may actually look much better. More is not always better.

See the pix below. I was able to squeeze 3 fair sized images in 1 post, with just a little compression. I also cropped out some of the background, so more pixels can be devoted to the subject.

all next week here in Melbourne Victoria the temp will be hovering around 39 - 41 ! (Thats C...

Holy crap! This northern sissy would have to lock myself in with the air conditioner if it got that hot. I start to melt at about 80F (27C).

17F (-8C) felt good after temps below 0F (-18C). Wind chills then were -30F to -40F (-34C to -40C). Yesterday was extremely excellent when it got up to almost 40F. Today it got up to almost 50F (10C), That's warm enough for me to open windows & enjoy the breeze, or go outside without a coat. I'm used to it. To save on heat costs, I keep the house no warmer than in the 50s in the winter anyway.

Ahh... thanks for the graphics info Betty.

Yep.. agreed... I prefer the cooler temperatures. Nicer to then add petticoats and slips and things.. not as nice in the heat! i.e. love that ballet girl in the snow graphic :-)

With temps in the 40s F, it's warmer inside too. Had a chance to wear some lighter & frilly stuff. I wore this dress last night. It's a LG size 14 communion dress I bought with another one for a little over $30 each almost 3 years ago... so it's also my newest dress. Amazingly I discovered it's still for sale for under $40 in LG size 14 & 16 at Amazon & Peacky Kids. I'm in between sizes. Some 14s are a little snug, some 16s are too loose. LG size 16 & some girl's plus sizes are large enough to fit many small males... and they're extra fun because they were actually designed for little girls. If you shop around at Amazon or google for them, you can find a few cute communion & flower girl dresses up to girls size 18 for around $35-$65.

I got it in 14, because even though I'm skinny enough for it, at 5'5" tall, it makes the dress a little short, which is more fun. It so short, it actually appears more like an empire style waist on me rather that a standard waist. It was probably designed for girls about 6-12" shorter than me.

It's very silky & light but has a very full skirt & built in cheap netting petticoat. I wore another petticoat with it for more fullness. I wore white tights with it. Underneath I had a snug girdle, diaper under bright yellow frilly panties, & put pink patterned plastic panties over them. I wore silver ballet style shoes. With pigtails, I looked like a little communion or flower girl. This was a last minute, spur of the moment, late night event, so no camera was set up & no pictures of me.

It was a lot of fun to dress in something lighter, frillier, & silkier for fun, & kink rather than something for comfort that I can get out of in a hurry for a change. I have other frilly dresses, but this was my silkiest newest one.

After the fire I lost almost everything, so except for the communion dresses, most of my other sissy stuff was bought at sales at Milanoo, or just plain basic cheap girls stuff like you'd find at Walmart for $9.99 or less. Back when I bought stuff from Milanoo, most of their frilly lolita dresses were selling for only $40-$56.

They still have some deals on nice frilly stuff, but I can't even afford another $30 communion dress, or more tights for a couple bucks right now.

The more you give,

the more I can give back.
