Here's a question: transsexuals and crossdressers are one thing, but drag queens -- with their overdone makeup, flamboyant costumes, exaggerated "endowments," etc. -- seem to me to be a caricature of femininity, the gender equivalent of white men in blackface. Am I the only one who thinks this way?

Hey Robyn Jodie and jeangurl, I guess I feel the same way, sort of like they are mocking us or real girls even though I know it is for entertainment purposes. I am familiar with the Australian /UK term "taking the piss" but they don't try to pass as everyday girls like we would if we could.
